A short introduction:
NGO “Woman and child – Protection and support” was founded the 3rd of March 2000 and registered the 21st of March with the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Moldova. March 3rd 2006 our organization celebrated 6 years of activity. Our organization was formed by a group of citizens who wanted to make a positive impact in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN.)
We offer:
Social assistance for disadvantaged people
Psycho-pedagogical assistance for children and youth
Developmental and rehabilitation services
Professional orientation
Information
Campaigns to inform and sensitize the public to the problems faced by children with SEN
Our aims:
The development of sustainable partnerships for the social integration of children with SEN and other disadvantaged people.
Progress toward a more inclusive and accepting public opinion about the problems confronted by children with SEN and other disadvantaged people.
Vocational activities, information and orientation toward a healthy lifestyle for young people.
Social assistance and re-integration into the community for elderly people.
Who are our beneficiaries:
Children with Special Educational needs (from 4 to 18 years old)
Parents, grandparents, and relatives of children with SEN.
At-risk youth, youth from vulnerable families, and all other youth who wish to affect positive changes in their lives and their communities.
Elderly people, socially isolated people.
